God's Grace For you

God's Glory Displayed

Justified by His Blood Received By faith

God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. (Rom. 5:8-10)

Why don't we see our need for God's gracious justification?

We think we are good enough.

Jesus said to them,
“If you were blind, you would have no sin;

but now you say, ‘we see’,
therefore your sin remains.”
(John. 9:41)

There’s none so blind as they that won’t see.
-Jonathan Swift

God's Law reveals the knowledge of sin

For by the law is the knowledge of sin. (Rom. 3:20)

Has sin blinded your eyes?

Jesus humbles the proud

“I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 18:14)

All who believe in Jesus humble themselves

Jesus saves sinners

Jesus said to them, “those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”  (Luke. 5:31-32)
